- I'm the be all, end all expert on common sense

  This very interesting thread on the subject of whether full contact sparring is essential for preparing a martial artist for defending themselves in a real fight also offers a fascinating insight into the way EHK thought. In one post he states "I'm the be all, end all expert on common sense". Then in the last post of the thread EHK talks about the virtue of humbleness, admitting you are wrong, but he does not see this as any more commendable than being right in the first place. It's this self confidence that made EHK such a formidable debater, but with it came a reputation for arrogance and beligerance. While there is some truth in that I don't think it's entirely fair to cast him in that light because quite often it turned out he was right and EHK was not above admitting he was wrong when that was the case - a rare quality amongst the Internet generation.
