  EHK was a huge fan of the Transformers cartoon series of the 1980's when he was a kid. He had all the toys, the comics, everything. So when the live action movie was announced he was initially excited and joined the message board for Don Murphy, the producer who wanted to get this project made. Then along came director Michael Bay which tempered that excitement a little, but even so EHK went into the movie theatre with high hopes so you can imagine his disappointment. Actually you don't need to imagine because its written down here in this topic.

  EHK never got to see Transformers 2 but he did have a few posts on the subject while the film was in production.

  In 2005 the Don Murphy Transformers Forum held the first of its annual Spammy Awards in which EHK was voted 3rd in the Most Intelligent Poster category. His tongue in cheek post reacting to this is very amusing! The title became a badge of honour for EHK and I don't think the members of the Transformers Forum ever really got the joke, but EHK shared it with Westeros and the delicious irony was not lost on us (although the posts themselves sadly are). Young Wolf joined the Transformers forum to continue the fun and the posts from that thread are included here. Also included are some related comments from Y-DUB and Lord O'Bones made after EHK's death.

  EHK relates a story about how Don Murphy, the producer of the Transformers movies, threatens him because of a difference of opinion regarding a news item about a blog post by Michael Bay which harshly attacked both Don Murphy and DeSanto, another Hollywood Producer. EHK revels in this 15 minutes of fame in typical style.

  EHK delivers his verdict on Revenge of the Sith with a rant on how badly George Lucas fucked up the new trilogy of films. A couple of Star Wars fanboys try to defend their beloved franchise prompting a brutal smackdown counter argument from EHK. Sometimes you have to wonder why Tom went to such efforts to try to show some ignorant teenagers the error of their ways, but thankfully because he did this thread contains some great Star Wars analysis by EHK.
